윈체스터 시의 공공 재산에서 시 관리자의 재량에 따라 세워진 적절한 표지판으로 지정된 구역에 있는 사람은 누구든지 다음과 같은 행위를 하는 것은 불법입니다:

(1) 물새의 배설물 또는 배설물이 쌓이는 경우;
(2) 동식물 또는 공공 재산이나 안전 또는 복지에 피해를 주는 경우;
(3) 공중 보건, 안전 또는 복지에 대한 위협이나 불쾌감을 초래하는 경우, 또는
(4) 해당 철새 또는 비철새의 건강, 안전 또는 복지에 위협을 초래하는 경우.(c) 본 조항은 국립공원 또는 주립공원, 산림 또는 야생동물 관리 지역 내의 토지에는 적용되지 않습니다.
- Sec. 16-7. - 총기류 반출. (참조)
시 경계 내에서 총, 권총 또는 기타 총기를 발사하거나 방출하는 행위는 불법이며 경범죄( 1 )에 해당합니다. 이 조항은 공무 수행 중인 법 집행관이나 자신의 생명이나 재산을 보호하기 위해 총기 사용이 법적으로 정당화되거나 면제되는 경우 또는 기타 법에 의해 특별히 허가된 사람에게는 적용되지 않습니다. (코드 1959, § 16-11)

- Sec. 16-8. - 에어건, 그래블 슈터 또는 이와 유사한 기기의 방전. (참조)
버지니아주 법령에 따라 달리 제외되는 경우를 제외하고, § 15.2-915.4, 뉴욕시 내 어디에서든 공기총, 그래블 슈터 또는 기타 유사한 도구로 총알, 탄환, 자갈 또는 이와 유사한 물건을 발사하는 행위는 불법이며 경범죄( 3 )에 해당합니다. 이러한 목적으로 특별히 설계되고 사용되는 완전히 밀폐된 실내 활동 센터에서 공기동력 페인트볼 총을 발사하는 사람에게는 적용되지 않습니다. 이 센터는 경찰청장 또는 그의 지명자가 검사하고 승인해야 하며, 그렇지 않으면 강령 및 구역 요건을 포함한 모든 관련 법률을 준수해야 합니다.

- Sec. 16-9. - 활과 화살 사용 제한, 양궁장 이용 시 허가증 필요, 도시 양궁 사냥. (참조)
(a) 시 경계 내에서 활과 화살을 사용하고 양궁장을 설치하는 데는 다음과 같은 제한이 적용됩니다:
(1) 경찰서장이 위치 및 구조의 안전성에 대해 승인한 양궁장을 제외하고는 누구든지 시 내에서 활을 쏘거나 활에서 화살을 발사할 수 없습니다.
(2) 미성년자는 경찰청장이 장소 및 구조의 안전성을 승인한 양궁장에서 성인의 직접적인 감독 하에 있는 경우를 제외하고는 뉴욕시 내에서 활을 쏘거나 활에서 화살을 발사할 수 없습니다.
(3) 이 섹션의 어떠한 내용도 무딘 고무 팁 또는 고무 흡입 컵이 장착된 활에서 "당김" 또는 "인발 무게" 가 10파운드 미만인 화살을 발사하는 데는 적용되지 않습니다.
(4) 누구든지 먼저 경찰청장의 허가를 받지 않고는 뉴욕시에서 양궁장을 설치하거나 운영할 수 없습니다. 경찰청장은 양궁장의 위치 및 건축이 공공의 안전에 부합한다고 만족스럽게 입증된 경우에만 양궁장의 건설 및 운영 허가를 발급해야 합니다.(b) Urban archery hunting. Section 16-9(a) shall not apply when discharging an arrow from a bow for the purposes of deer hunting within the City of Winchester limits during the Urban Archery Season, the Early Archery Season, the General Firearms Deer season, as designated in regulations set forth by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, under the following conditions:
(1) On land that is five acres or more of continuous area, approved by the City Manager and the Chief of Police;
(2) The landowner or landowners have applied for an annual permit from the Chief of Police to use their property for the purpose of discharging archery equipment and have identified their properties as such by signage approved by the Chief of Police;
(3) Any person discharging a bow shall, at all times, while engaged in such activity, have in his possession written permission from the landowner(s) to discharge such a weapon on his premises;
(4) Agreement shall be made between the participant and landowner(s) in reference to field dress;
(5) All participants must abide by all applicable sections of the Virginia State Code and Virginia Hunting Regulations. Further, the following restrictions apply:
a. Discharge of a bow must be done from an elevated stand with a minimum height of ten feet.
b. No person shall discharge a bow within 100 yards of any dwelling, building, street, sidewalk, alley, roadway, public land or public place within City limits. Further, all hunting shall be done internally to the property approved for hunting.
c. A person shall neither discharge a bow from, over or across any street, sidewalk, alley, roadway, or public land or public place within City limits or toward any building or dwelling in such a manner that an arrow may strike it nor shall a person discharge a bow over or across the private property of another without permission.
d. No person shall hunt deer within the City limits by use of dog or dogs.
e. Urban Archery Season is restricted to hunting antlerless deer only.
f. Any person engaging in deer hunting must dispose of deer carcasses appropriately.(c) 이 섹션의 조항을 위반하는 사람은 경범죄( 3 ) 등급으로 유죄 판결을 받게 됩니다.
